The President and Executive of the West Indies Group of University Teachers (WIGUT) in keeping with its mandate:
Promoting the welfare of the University of the West Indies and its teaching, research, library, senior administrative and professional staff who are members of the Union
Regulating the relations between the members and the employer in connection with the terms and conditions of service of its members
Attempting the settlement of all disputes between its members and their employers concerning all aspects of the employment of it members, and or such disputes of a professional nature which may arise between its members from time to time;
Extends an invitation to you to attend a seminar celebrating The University of the West Indies (UWI) 60th Anniversary on Friday October 3 2008 at 4:00 pm at Daaga Hall Auditorium (Next to Centre for Language Learning). A reception will follow at the Senior Common Room (SCR) from 6:30 to 10:30 pm.
