The Interfaith Service will be held on Sunday July 13, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at the University Chapel as part of the special week of activities to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the University of the West Indies. The Service will involve members from various religions including the Bahai Faith, Judaism, Rastafarianism, the Hindu Faith and Christianity, among others.
Rev. Dr. Roderick Hewitt, United Church Chaplain at UWI, Mona will be the Liturgist and the Homily will be delivered by Coadjutor Archbishop Donald Reece of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kingston. UWI Chaplains from the other Christian denominations will also participate in the service. The University Singers as well as the University Chorale will form the Choir.
