- Provide proof of graduation from the SVM.
- Provide documentation of at least 3 years full-time attendance at high school.
- Provide proof of obtaining a passing score in NAVLE (North American Veterinary Licensure Examination) www.nbvme.org:
- a number of states will allow FVG to sit the NAVLE prior to receiving ECFVG certification and also FVG must be enrolled in the ECFVG programme before they eligible to take NAVLE.
- your score from NAVLE requested to be reported to the ECFVG www.aavsb.org.
- Clinical portion of ECFVG has two options:
- one year of clinical experience at AVMA accredited college
- complete the Completion of the Clinical Proficiency Examinations (CPE) - this has a time advantage
Upon successful completion of steps 1 through 4, the ECFVG will issue a certificate (the equivalent of proof of graduation from an accredited college of veterinary medicine).
This does not ensure that you will receive license to practice.
May be a prerequisite to sitting the state board exams. |
