"WE GIVE SOMETHING BACK TO UWI" | MISSION STATEMENT | The UWI Alumni Association is dedicated to the advancement of the University of the West Indies as a centre of excellence in the Caribbean through the mobilisation of its graduates.

| ACCOMPLISHMENTS TO DATE | The Trinidad and Tobago Chapter has successfully undertaken a number of key activities and projects and is considered to be the leading Alumni Chapter in the Caribbean.

| KEY ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN | - Distribution of annual bursaries to UWI students
- Annual donations to the UWI Main Library
- Annual "World of Work" seminar and mock interview sessions for final year students
- Co-organizer of the UWI Mentorship programme for final year students
- Hosting of the Distinguished Lecture Series in partnership with bpTT
- Membership on the UWI Council and other UWI Committees
- Hosting of the annual Wine and Cheese Festival
